Moneyshot: “Female,” inventor-thief, part of the younger generation. Serial turncoat who’s mostly just loyal to luxury and credits. Currently designed for the Animated continuity and has versions plotted out for Animated, Prime, and IDW G1.
Gigaton: “Male,” former Elite Guardsman, old fashioned, knight-like, (Historical knights. Not romanticized fantasy knights. He’s a complete asshole.) wishes the caste system was never abolished and hates Optimus and Megatron alike. Is an Autobot mostly out of respect for the Council’s faith in Optimus and acknowledging that Megatron is much worse than the newest Prime. Deisgned and plotted out for the Prime continuity.
Megabite: “Male,” originally a Maximal officer on his way towards Primehood, (In the Beast Era, I remind… Primes were generals. Nothing more.) got shell programmed. The character that Gigaton was later based on, still very regal and knight-like in beliefs and attitude in the least noble ways possible. Was set to become transmetal and regain his memories to give him some internal conflict as he became Terrabite or Terrorbite, but it never wound up happening. Made for the Beast Wars setting.
Shamsheer & Street Sweeper: Playing with the twins route that’s becoming so common these days. First twins I’ve made, so that at least takes some shame off. They’re still a severe WIP, but they WERE identical twins who went down two very different routes out of their preferences which has drastically differentiated their appearances and styles. Shamsheer is a violent and swift sadist who takes to the airs in the form of a Chinese stealth drone with a god awful name, seriously what the hell Chinese government, the Dark Sword. And utilizes her seeker claws and a motion tracking gun. Streetsweeper, meanwhile… Favored a bulky land-based development, with the alt. mode of a stylized Land Rover. She’s the slightly more reserved of the two but is still a stalker at heart, and for her armaments mostly utilizes a shoulder-mounted net gun and a built in EMP shotgun.
The two work together to track down targets, and are honestly only somewhat more competent than Vehicons. But with their slightly higher success rate, they’re still valuable enough to not just get rid of them. Their worst enemies are possibly themselves, as their personalities and egos clash enough that it’s rather common for them to get into arguments which can turn into all out brawls between each other. And an opponent who knows them can probably take advantage of that pretty easily.
The Point:
Oh my god, you have no idea how badly I want to use very one of these characters. But where, with who? Jesus christ, the TF RP community is not exactly to welcoming to the gaze of one such as myself. (I mean, I’ve got a few blogs going and nothing’s gone WRONG with them, but I’m sort of staring and going “where should I even TRY to start with these?) Complete exclusion of OCs, RPs about nothing or building a freaking family instead of any of the themes of the franchises or exploring the settings, lack of creativity in a lot of the OCs you do see scurrying about…
I wonder if it would even be remotely possible to make a Tumblr TF RP group… Dedicated to exploring the settings without so much focus on canons and people playing them badly. Focused on OCs, canons that never got screen time or got very little in the series in question, etc… With the main characters off doing their things in the official series, while these others do their own in another part of the Universe or on their own parts of the globe.
Here is something I think about a lot when I read dirty tfa fanfiction, Am I the only one who flinches when people read that someone fingers someone in tfa?

haha! i don’t know why i can’t stand him… i literally love tfa’s cast more than anything but… i think it’s his voice. he sounds so suave and dickish…
But of course, he’s Fred freaking Willard. Personally, the voice is a big selling point for me in his case. XD It pulls his whole thing together.
